本机用于真丝、人丝和合纤原料的单根丝或多根丝（最多为6根），使之成为无捻度的合股丝线，供喂入捻丝机或倍捻机加捻用。
根据所配用卷取筒子的不同，摇架在160mm~210mm之间可调，以分别适用于165和210有边筒子使用，并与大卷装倍捻机及GD004-210型轴向络丝机相配套。
